This is exactly the kind of place I have been searching for. It is comfortable and welcoming to people who want to sit and work for several hours. I became so absorbed in my work that I did not even realize how much time had passed. Parking had kept me from visiting sooner because there does not appear to be convenient parking nearby. What I did not know is that they offer validated parking. There is a sign inside explaining where to park, but I wish that information were more prominent online because it completely changes how accessible the location feels. I also observed older children and teenagers, roughly twelve and up, using the climbing facilities. I cannot speak to what is available for younger children, but the pricing was very reasonable and the entire setup seemed designed to make trying something new and getting involved feel easy and approachable. The cafe offers drinks, pastries, and cup noodles rather than a full food menu. I saw someone receive a food delivery from a nearby restaurant, although she may have been a member or had a separate arrangement. Method Climbing + Café in Newark is such a fun and refreshing spot! Whether you’re there to tackle the climbing walls or just hang out with a great cup of coffee, the whole place has an awesome vibe. The climbing routes are creative, challenging, and perfect for both beginners and experienced climbers. It’s easy to lose track of time once you start climbing. The café side is just as impressive — the coffee was smooth and delicious, and the pastries were the perfect post-climb reward. The atmosphere feels modern, energetic, and super welcoming. Everyone from the staff to the climbers was friendly and encouraging, which made the experience even better. It’s the kind of place where you can get a workout, relax with friends, and enjoy really good coffee all in one visit. Newark definitely needed a spot like this, and we’ll absolutely be coming back for more climbs and caffeine!

Service was cool , coffee was good but the cafe could’ve been cleaner . I went early in the AM so not sure what the closer does g night . But anywhere food and beverage has to be prepared and served , should present as at least “broom swept” .

Method cafe always have the best offerings for matcha latter, hojitcha latte and all sorts of loose leaves tea. They also have a good collection of climbing equipment including shoes, chalk and bags… I’ve probably been here over 50 times… the beverages are always satisfying. it has a friendly staff and amazing atmosphere too. 10/10

What a cozy place to eat, work, study, or just relax! I went in the morning here since I was craving a good latte. I ordered an iced latte which was very yummy! This place has lots of seating and is connected to a fitness gym (climbing) where you can do day passes even, I thought that was awesome. The staff is very friendly and the menu had a good variety of coffees, teas, and snacks. I recommend the macaroons, super delicious! I would be back here if I was in the area again. This place had a nice feel without the “snooty” attitude that can sometimes come from vibe-y coffee shops!
